Most people nowadays are involved in some type of regular physical activity; from walking the dog to being involved in 2 or 3 sporting activities every week (gym, tennis, basketball, tennis, horse riding, golf, soccer). In the summer months all involvement in physical activities increases.
Those who experience persistent ache / pain / joint stiffness / muscle tightness / discomfort either during or after their activity move towards finding a solution to their difficulties only when they are unable to enjoy their leisure activity. In some cases their activity is abandoned altogether in an attempt to achieve a solution.
